Every Coffee, Every Step, Every Donation Celebrating the PROPS North East Coffee Crawl • 10 August 2026 Together, our Coffee Crawlers raised a fantastic £640.20! Walking, talking and connecting On Monday 10 August, our wonderful Coffee Crawlers set off from the PROPS office for a sponsored walk through North Shields and Tynemouth. With collection buckets, PROPS vests and plenty of enthusiasm, the group spent the day walking, talking and connecting with people across the community — one coffee at a time. The event was about much more than enjoying a cuppa. It brought people together, raised awareness of PROPS North East and helped start conversations about the support available to families affected by a loved one’s drug or alcohol use. Every pound will help PROPS continue providing practical and emotional support to families across Newcastle and North Tyneside. A very special mention goes to Lisa, who raised a whopping £330 all on her own — more than half of the event total! Whether enjoying a coffee, carrying a collection bucket or taking a well-earned ice-cream break, our crawlers showed exactly what can be achieved when people come together for families in their community.
